What is Zyra?

Zyra is India’s first AI-powered insurance assistant. It helps users upload policies, generate a Z-Score (like a credit score for insurance), and get unbiased guidance through chat and voice. I led the end-to-end design: brand identity, product design, and marketing site.

The Challenge

Insurance in India is confusing, full of jargon, and dominated by pushy sales. The goal was to make Zyra feel trustworthy, private, and simple — from first impression to in-app experience.

End-to-End App Design

Designing Zyra’s app meant taking something traditionally complex — insurance, and turning it into a clear, human-first experience. I designed the entire product journey from onboarding to insights, keeping privacy, trust, and simplicity at the core.

Trust through tone

Zyra speaks like a guide, not a salesperson — reinforced with calm colors, badges, and privacy reassurances.

Clarity over jargon

Every screen surfaces the essentials, stripping out unnecessary complexity.

Conversational first

Most interactions happen via chat or voice, so the UI flexes around messages, widgets, and expandable cards.

Transparency

Data-backed insights are always explained with “why” (e.g., why the Z-Score is low, why a policy is weak).

Website

Designed a marketing site with a conversational hero, problem-solution storytelling, and feature-driven toolkit section.

From Complexity to Clarity

Zyra now has a unified brand, app, and website that make insurance simple and trustworthy. Complex policies were distilled into clear Z-Scores, reports, and comparisons, creating a transparent, user-first experience. The design positioned Zyra as a credible AI insurance expert, building the foundation for user trust and adoption.
